Human body are designed for several centuries to be living in the jungle. It is a natural process for our blood cholesterol, sugar and pressure levels to rise when encountering a dangerous situation. It is commonly known, when seeing a tiger or lion, in jungle we fight or flight from the situation either of the way there is an intense bodily activity which lowers down the raised levels. In short, the rise of the blood sugar, cholesterol or pressure is a normal response of the body to prepare itself to fight or flight. Only during the last 10,000 years our ancestors have shift towards living in a society making way to agricultural era. Anthropologists suggest human diseases started emerging as a result to the shift in the lifestyle pattern ever since.

Today we witness the Fourth Industrial revolution with more of Artificial intelligence and machine learning. We may not be living in jungle and encountering a tiger or lion but everyday situation has similar threats and challenges which prepares the body with elevated blood sugar, cholesterol and pressure level. In combination with sedentary lifestyle, these raised levels remain circulating the blood damaging our body tissues causing mental distress and chronic diseases. We may need to be cautious of this shift and need to create the awareness for digital detoxification and living with the nature so that we could curb down lifestyle disorders such as obesity, diabetes, cancer, heart disease, depression and so on.
